That's why the Reaction 240 SLX uses the same kind of heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes that you'll find in our performance adult bikes, as well as the same mechanical tube-forming process to adjust tube shapes for the best combination of strength and weight. A replaceable derailleur hanger insures against expensive repairs in the event of minor mishaps, and there's plenty of clearance for wide tyres to ensure great grip, comfort and safety.

ALUMINIUM LITE

There's aluminium, and then there's CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE.
