With its high-capacity Bosch PowerTube battery, fourth-generation Bosch CX power and the slick shifting and wide range of Shimano's 1x12 XT gears, the Reaction Hybrid Race has what you need to broaden your horizons and take your riding to the next level. A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

FULL INTEGRATED BATTERY

The Full Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch's battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike's downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.

MODULAR BATTERY SYSTEM

In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That's why, with our Modular Battery System, we've made a setup that's easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we've made room for even high capacity batteries. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

GRAVITY CASTING

Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with our Hybrid models we're able to produce a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.

SIZESLPIT

The right bike should fit you perfectly. That's why we created SizeSplit. For shorter riders, the smaller 27.5in wheel standard allows us to build frames that fit well while remaining agile and sure-footed. And, for taller riders, we built a range of sizes around the fast-rolling 29er wheel standard. Whichever one you choose, you can be sure of a fit that makes your bike feel as though it was built just for you.

AGILE RIDE GEOMETRY

For off-road riding you need a bike that responds quickly, but also feels stable and secure. That's where Agile Ride Geometry comes in. Offering an ideal blend of on-demand steering precision, climbing agility and descending stability, it's perfect for every rider who values their time on the trail. ADVANCED INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

KICKSTAND/DEFENDER/CARRIER MOUNTING POINTS

Accessories like a kickstand, fenders and luggage carrier can really extend the versatility of your CUBE bike. We designed mounting points that integrate so neatly with each frame, you'll barely notice they're there – but they also provide a simple, strong and secure attachment for any future upgrades.
